1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Tech Services Hub website (the "Site"), our solar sizing tool, or any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Site or our services.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Services Provided

Tech Services Hub provides the following categories of services:

Solar PV system design, installation, and maintenance — including load audits, battery bank sizing, inverter selection, and physical installation in Nigeria.

Software development — custom web applications, dashboards, business systems, and progressive web apps.

AI and NLP solutions — sentiment analysis, automation pipelines, and machine learning integrations.

Free digital tools — including the Solar Sizing Calculator available on our Site.

Specific deliverables, timelines, and payment terms for paid engagements are governed by a separate written agreement, statement of work, or invoice provided to you before commencement.

3. User Responsibilities

When using our Site and services, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information in any forms or communications.

• Not use the Site or our services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of Nigerian law.

• Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site, other users' data, or our systems.

• Not interfere with or disrupt the Site, its servers, or networks connected to it.

• Not scrape, copy, or republish substantial portions of the Site's content without written permission.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any credentials issued to you and for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Solar Sizing Tool — Engineering Disclaimer

Our Solar Sizing Calculator is provided as an engineering aid. It is designed to help estimate system requirements based on standard engineering practices, but it does not replace professional engineering judgment.

Estimates only — Calculated results depend on the accuracy of the inputs you provide and on assumptions that may not apply to your specific site, equipment, or conditions.

Verify before purchase — Always verify recommended components, sizes, and configurations against manufacturer datasheets and local installation codes before purchasing equipment or proceeding with installation.

Not a substitute for a licensed installer — Physical solar installation must be carried out by a qualified professional in accordance with applicable safety and electrical standards.

No liability for design outcomes — Tech Services Hub is not liable for losses, damages, equipment failures, or injuries arising from reliance on the calculator's output without independent verification.

For a fully engineered design and installation with warranty, please engage us through our paid services.

5. Payments & Pricing

Service pricing — Quotes are provided in NGN (Nigerian Naira) or USD at the time of engagement. Prices are valid for 14 days unless otherwise stated.

Payment terms — Unless otherwise agreed in writing, projects require a deposit before work begins. Final payment is due upon delivery or milestone completion.

Late payments — We reserve the right to charge interest on overdue invoices and to suspend work or withhold deliverables until payment is received.

Refunds — Deposits are non-refundable once work has commenced. Refund requests for unused portions will be evaluated case by case.

Third-party costs — Hardware, hosting, licenses, and other third-party costs are typically the client's responsibility unless expressly included in the quote.

6. Intellectual Property

Site content — All text, design, code, graphics, and logos on this Site are the property of Tech Services Hub or its licensors and are protected by copyright and trademark law.

Client deliverables — Upon full payment, clients receive ownership of custom code and content we create specifically for them, unless otherwise agreed. We retain the right to showcase non-confidential aspects of the work in our portfolio.

Reusable components — Foundational libraries, design systems, and generic components remain our property and may be reused across projects.

Feedback — Any feedback or suggestions you provide may be used by us without restriction or compensation.

7. Service Warranties

Software deliverables — We warrant that software we deliver will materially conform to the agreed specification for a period of 30 days after delivery. Fixing defects that arise during this period is our responsibility at no additional cost.

Solar installations — Installation warranties are governed by the equipment manufacturer's warranty (typically 5–25 years for panels, 3–10 years for inverters and batteries) plus our own workmanship warranty for a period stated in the installation agreement (typically 12 months).

Exclusions — Warranties do not cover damage caused by misuse, unauthorized modification, power surges beyond rated protection, natural disasters, or third-party interference.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Nigerian law:

• Our total liability to you arising from any engagement is limited to the total amount you paid us for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption.

• We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control (force majeure), including power outages, network failures, government action, or civil unrest.

Nothing in these Terms excludes any liability that cannot be excluded under Nigerian law.

9. Termination

By you — You may stop using the Site at any time. For paid engagements, termination is governed by the specific service agreement.

By us — We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site or a service if you breach these Terms, fail to pay, or engage in behavior that harms us or other users.

Effect — On termination, provisions that by their nature should survive (intellectual property, liability limits, dispute resolution) will remain in force.

10. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Informal resolution first — If a dispute arises, we ask that you contact us first to attempt good-faith resolution.

Jurisdiction — If informal resolution fails, disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Rivers State, Nigeria.

Arbitration option — For commercial engagements, the parties may agree in writing to resolve disputes through arbitration under the rules of a recognized Nigerian arbitral body.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will:

• Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page

• Where appropriate, notify existing clients via email

Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, please stop using the Site.
